can you please specify which wallet you are connecting to?
Anyway, confirm your configuration meets the following points:
Make sure your Trezor is running the latest firmware.
Also, make sure you have the latest version of Trezor Bridge, you should see “trezord” process running in your activity/system/task manager. If you cannot see the process running in the background, please try to reinstall it again. The latest version of Trezor Bridge can be downloaded from this source Trezor Suite
Use supported browsers only. Either Chrome or Firefox (try both and try using Incognito/privacy mode as well).
Clear your browser’s cache and make sure they are up to date.
Not only using a VPN, but also certain advanced Firewall or Antivirus settings, browser extensions (AdBlock, Privacy Badger, etc.), may cause these issues, therefore please try to disable them as well.
On top of that, use only one application/website/browser tab with Trezor at a time. It is possible that they are clashing with each other.
I have done all that.
The only reason I use Chrome is for the Metamask with Trezor.
I will try to uninstall both Chrome and Trezor Suite. Clean all the Windows cache and temporary files.
The next try I will only do is to reformat all the PCs to move my funds to a Ledger…
So basically I attached my Trezor to my MetaMask and have a passcode and hidden wallet… Whenever I would transact with MetaMask (say, to send crypto from Metamask to another wallet) I would get a pop-up in the browser (using Brave), I would enter my passcode, then I would have to confirm some things on the Trezor itself… Now that confirmation window to enter my passcode pops up and then instantly closes, so I can never get to enter the code and all my transactions hang… I don’t think it is a pop-up blocker or antivirus (though I supposed it could be but I disabled them to test and the window still instantly closes) and I do not use a VPN… I am up to date on Trezor Firmware and newest version of MM… Please help
Same for me. Been frustrating the last two days. I’m on Windows 10 with latest version of Trezor Suite and Bridge. I end task the bridge, unplug and plug in the trezor and it still fails. I’ve also tried it across two difference browsers (Brave, Vivaldi). Very frustrating trying complete simple transactions.
Hello,
I have the same problem as other customers: confirmation popup is not available which make any action in metamask fail…
I already try the tips from the post above.
I see that this issue has been raised for some time already. Any chance Trezor will soon find a solution???
I mean I cannot do 2 transactions in a row without that problem showing up…
any feedback appreciated
thx
Hello using trezor one with metamask…the Connect V9 popup window disappears automatically, sometimes it doesn’t but most times it does and cannot complete transaction. I know this is a known issue. MS Edge work for a while but now it doesn’t Chrome, firefox work intermittently.
Ahhh, awesome to see that something from 2022, still hasn’t been fixed. And the best fixes are don’t check remember device or use edge…BRUH. I just love that now it doesn’t even work after a few tries anymore, I wanted to restake with eigenlayer today but nope, trezor said no. It’s funny cause the other day I wrote them enraged on twitter and instead of getting a we’re working on it, I got blocked. Worst mistake I ever made buying a Trezor, the time it wastes me, it’s unbelievable.
Hi, same issue happens to me. It worked perfectly for whole time until now and I cant connect my trezor to metamask anymore. Nor to sign the transactions. PLEASE HELP!!! I ASK TO DEVS TO FIX IT!!! Thanks a lot!
And don’t you dare to critique the harsh tone of this message. Critiquing this message would be a diversion from the heart of the matter and an implicit admission of your powerlessness and incompetence.
The only correct answer is a step by step solution to the “closing popup” problem.
Get your sh*t together, guys. Solve that problem for once and for all!
