Buttons on bottom of screen don't respond easily

So, I cleaned the screen with alcohol and a t shirt, hopefully that will help. The touch buttons at the bottom of screen weren’t responding to touch easily. Does anyone use a rubber stylus instead of their finger? Has anyone else had this issue?
