Trezor 1 no longer requesting Pin code and not possible to update
Hi @soyeso , It’s possible that what you’re seeing is the watch‑only version of your wallet in Trezor Suite. After a recent update, the wallet no longer ejects automatically when the device is disconnected. Instead, it remains available in watch‑only mode. This allows you to monitor your balance and receive funds even without your Trezor connected. To send transactions, you’ll still need to connect your device and enter your PIN.
Regarding the update - are you having trouble updating Trezor Suite, or is the issue with updating your device’s firmware? Also, which firmware version are you currently using?
I managed to change the pin and update Trezor, but it still does not request pin. It’s a model 1
Hi @soyeso , Trezor Suite will prompt you to enter your PIN on the Trezor Model One whenever you initiate an action that requires confirmation on the device.
The device may show as “connected,” but certain actions, such as displaying the full receiving address on the device screen or sending cryptocurrency, require you to enter your PIN first.
