"There is no empty account available." when trying to create third BTC-SegWit account

Hi forum!
When trying to create a third BTC wallet on my Trezor Safe 3, the “Add Bitcoin account”-button is disabled and the tooltip says “There is no empty account available.”

Why, and how can I create a third account? The first and second accounts are NOT empty

Hi @14d42dda, do you use multiple Bitcoin account types in Trezor Suite (e.g. default/SegWit, Legacy Segwit, and Taproot)? If so, please note that while an additional account can be created if you are already using that type, you can’t mix and match account creation across types. For example, if you are using 2 Legacy Segwit accounts, but not a default account yet, you would only be able to create a third Legacy Segwit account, and would not be able to create a second default account.

Nope, the first two accounts are also SegWit.

The firmware is the latest one 2.9.4, same for the Suite.

Does it make any difference if the Trezor is installed with the “Universal” or “Bitcoin-only” Firmware?

I have now the “Universal” installed.
