Switching Trezor Safe 7 Bitcoin-Only to Universal Firmware?

Hi, I bought a Trezor Safe 7 Bitcoin-only the day it dropped, and I was wondering if it’s possible to switch it to the universal firmware. When I check for updates, it doesn’t give me the option. I assume I can download the universal firmware from GitHub. Is this possible, and is there any downside? For example, will I lose any features that are only on Bitcoin-only devices permanently if I switch back later?

Hello @badminton I can confirm that it is possible to install Universal firmware on the BTC-only versions of Trezor Safe 3, Trezor Safe 5 and Trezor Safe 7.
