Several new issues on 25.8.2

Hi, since upgrading to the new version I’m experiencing several new issues:

  • The application (on Windows) disappears after making some transactions. I need to launch it again. It isn’t closed, it just disappears from view and from the taskbar, and reappears after I launch it again.
  • Transactions (e.g. smart contract approvals) fail again and again. This happens on major sites like aave, spark or llamaswap. I need to repeat them 4 or 5 times and then they finally go through.
  • To enter a passphrase wallet, I enter my passphrase and I get a message that ‘this is a new wallet and is empty’, although it’s not. I am prompt to re-enter the passphrase for some reason. Once I do, the wallet loads. So basically I need to enter the passphrase twice so as to enter my wallet.

All these issues appeared after the new suite upgrade. Can you please help? Thank you.

Another issue - the “auto eject wallets” setting keeps resetting to on. I turn it off, close the suite, open the suite again - and it’s on again.

I’ve already tried resetting the suite but all the problems mentioned remain.

Hi, a couple of points:

  • App resetting Trezor Suite is going to cause only Bitcoin to be enabled and the auto-eject feature to turn off (wallet stays remembered). You must reenable your other coins by going to Settings > Coins and the auto-eject feature (if you prefer not viewing balances) in Settings > Application
  • This may be related to the smart contract UI you are using or setting too low a gas fee. Do you know what errors are occuring?
  • Not sure why your application is force closing after making some transactions. Do you have any of the experimental features enabled related to keeping Trezor Suite always on? It might be best to create a support ticket via our Chatbot Hal about this.

After upgrading to 25.8.2, it says my passphrase wallet is a new and empty. There is no issue with that on 25.8.1.

please go to settings and check that your coins are enabled.

The coins are enabled. It treats the passphrase wallet as empty and therefore asks for the passphrase twice. Once the wallet finally loads, the coins are there. It happens every single time.

I got the same critical issue that is preventing me from completing any DeFi transactions through AAVE using my Trezor device. The signing/approval dialog in Trezor Suite flashes on screen for a fraction of a second and then immediately disappears, causing the application to freeze and the transaction to remain stuck in “Approving” status (regardless if it is the laptop or web app, the cable, no vpn, etc.)
