Hi. I am suffering today. After over 3 long years, I decided to check into my Trezor account. Why it took so long was mainly because the computer I set it up on crashed, and I didn’t prioritize checking in on the new computer. Well, now I have, and my passphrase, which I have clearly written down, is not working. I have tried on three computers (two Macs–one updated Trezor and one needing updated, and one PC–on the browser)–none of them are working. And I have tried inputting the phrase directly into the Trezor T. I have tried over 30 variations even though my phrase is clearly written down. Something is seriously wrong–And I can’t call, let alone email Trezor or get help on this. This is just insane and not acceptable. Can anyone offer solutions?
I am not an expert at this but I would have to say that your firmware would be way out of date on your device. Not sure if that has anythingto do with this. Double check your spaces and caps… it’s a big deal.
When you setup Suite on a new computer, make sure you enable the coins that you are storing on that specific seed phrase + passphrase wallet. Then let the suite discover the accounts with the enabled coins.
Make sure you have the correct seed phrase associated with that passphrase.
Make sure the keyboard is using all the same keycodes as the previously crashed computer. I prefer just to use the device to enter the passphrase to avoid any technical issue like this and to prevent keyloggers seeing my passphrase.
If all that fails, try to get the crashed computer working again.
3 years is a long time, so you have to be forgetting something. The algorithms for the seed phrases don’t change.
Best of luck to you!
