My device will not update from 24.8.2 to 24.9.2. I’ve tried many times. My device will not update. Last time this happened, I had to uninstall and reinstall the software. Yes, that worked, but it’s absolutely ridiculous to have to completely uninstall the software and then reinstall it with the seed word phrases. Absolutely ridiculous! This software is not working correctly. Trezor developers need to do something about it. I’m totally frustrated. When using the Ledger, all you have to do is clear the cache and everything works great.

what you are referring to is not your device but the Trezor Suite software.
Reinstalling Suite does not require seed words, please keep in mind to never enter seed words anywhere unless instructed by the device.
You can do this in Suite, in Settings/application/Reset app.
