Hello! I want add an existing address that holds some ETH to my Trezor (2nd gen - black one). Any good guides out there? Note I only have the MyEtherWallet card with address & private key on it in my possession. I do see one method I think where I have to type in the private key but it says its risky & to only do it off line. Is it as simple as disconnecting from the internet, running Trezor suite & then doing it? TIA,
@Beldanan If your wallet backup (formerly known as recovery seed) from MyEtherWallet is BIP-39 compatible and 12, 18, or 24 words long, you should be able to import it directly into any Trezor device.
Trezor devices do not support entering raw private keys, so you would need to use a different wallet that does support this feature if you only have those.
You should move your fungs to a new clean wallet.
If you keep them on the old wallet, there would be no security improvement in using Trezor
