I have a self-hosted network that I use for testing and research purposes that behaves just like the mainnet, with the only difference being that its blockchain is much shorter (roughly 300 blocks) and has much less amount of PoW. In that network I have an Electrum server (implementation electrumx) to which I connect all my wallets to create and receive transactions in this testing environment. I am trying to connect the Trezor Suite desktop app to it, but it won’t connect saying “You’re not connected to backend. Try reconnecting… etc.”. I know the server is functional and up because, for instance, my Electrum wallet works perfectly with it. If anyone can provide some feedback on how to solve this I’d be more than grateful.
what a shame that nobody has replied in over a year. Now it is March 2026. I have set up my own bitcoin full node with an electrs server. I am able to use Sparrow wallet to connect to my electrs server. But Trezor Suite refuses to connect to my electrs server. I have tried tor and I have tried clearnet. I have tried with Trezor Suite on windows. Doesn’t connect. I have tried with Trezor Suite on android. Doesn’t connect.
