I wanted to check my seed phrase on my model 1. On step 4/6 the grid of 9 numbers appears on the device, but in Trezor Suite the panel is empty. There’s no usual pin entry widget. I answered the previous questions correctly. Do you have a solution? Thanks!
I am having the same issue. Just installed Trezor Suite 24.11.2-win-x64 for the first time on a new Win11 PC, connected my Trezor Device (Firmware 1.11.2) and wanted to do the “Check Wallet Backup” before updating the Firmware to 1.12.1. My screenshot looks almost identical – except for a scroll-bar at the right edge – and scrolling by tapping the down arrow once appears to move the (blank) window to it bottom most (blank) line. No PIN code entry possible. (Obviously the initial Pin code entry when I first connected the Trezor worked just fine.)
I have the same problem, haven’t found any info yet regarding this issue
Update: I was lucky finding a copy of my original install on a Win10 PC: “Trezor-Suite-22.9.3-win-x64.exe” on one of my servers. It had been removed some time ago from that Win10 PC, but I went ahead and reinstalled it.
Long story short: I was successful doing a Settings/Device/Check Backup. I used “Advanced recovery” – what a pain – but successfully entered the PIN and the (long) recovery phrase, eventually ending up with “Backup seed successfully checked!” ( I have screenshots of each steps, but not quite sure how to include them ) and a “The seed is valid and MATCHES the one in the device.”
I am using a Trezor One. And this proves my device is fine. Time to upgrade the firmware
Hope this helps.
I have reported this as a BUG.
The reply from Trezor Customer Support was, they will fix it in the next release.
Nice. I am having this bug both in the webapp and in the desktop app so I don’t have a workaround to check my backup
@hooly @Georg @Micky_See Certain Trezor Model Ones with older firmware may not be able to complete a check backup in Trezor Suite. Would each of you please create a ticket at Support | Trezor Knowledge Base so we can investigate and direct you to the proper check backup flow
