I can not get Trezor suite to open on my MacBook. I have used it many times successfully. I have never done a firmware update. Today, after I had not accessed Trezor suite in months, I opened it and I got a notice that I had to update my firmware. When I tried to update it said there was an error. It then asked me if I wanted to update and restart. I clicked yes. The suite disappeared and I couldn’t open it. I waited about 20-30 minutes and tried again. After a few attempts the app opened. I tried to update again and the same thing happened. I’m wondering if I need to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I have my seed phrase if anything happens but I have never tested it to see if it work. What should I do?
@eallen83 I recommend trying the following:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Trezor Suite
- Using the web version of Trezor Suite. For the web version of Trezor Suite, we recommend using only supported Chromium-based browsers, such as Google Chrome or Brave. These browsers support WebUSB, enabling direct and seamless communication with your Trezor device.
- Trying connecting your Trezor with multiple cables and in multiple USB ports.
Additionally, there is an option on how to check your wallet backup (recovery seed):
In order to do so please navigate to device settings in Trezor Suite as shown in the picture below:
A detailed description of how to perform the “Check backup” feature can be found in these articles:
