Can’t open Trezor suite

I can not get Trezor suite to open on my MacBook. I have used it many times successfully. I have never done a firmware update. Today, after I had not accessed Trezor suite in months, I opened it and I got a notice that I had to update my firmware. When I tried to update it said there was an error. It then asked me if I wanted to update and restart. I clicked yes. The suite disappeared and I couldn’t open it. I waited about 20-30 minutes and tried again. After a few attempts the app opened. I tried to update again and the same thing happened. I’m wondering if I need to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I have my seed phrase if anything happens but I have never tested it to see if it work. What should I do?

@eallen83 I recommend trying the following:

  1. Uninstalling and reinstalling Trezor Suite
  2. Using the web version of Trezor Suite. For the web version of Trezor Suite, we recommend using only supported Chromium-based browsers, such as Google Chrome or Brave. These browsers support WebUSB, enabling direct and seamless communication with your Trezor device.
  3. Trying connecting your Trezor with multiple cables and in multiple USB ports.

Additionally, there is an option on how to check your wallet backup (recovery seed):

In order to do so please navigate to device settings in Trezor Suite as shown in the picture below:

A detailed description of how to perform the “Check backup” feature can be found in these articles:
