I understand that there are third party wallets like MetaMask that may allow you to connect to Defi yield farms, but considering that the Safe 7 will be the first wireless Trezor to connect to our phones, I was questioning how you can do yield farm with it wirelessly? It’s unknown if MetaMask or other wallet apps on our phones will be able to connect to the Safe 7 wirelessly to do this.
Considering that the Trezor Suite supports staking of crypto straight from it, I was wondering if the same can be done with yield farming?
It is possible to connect to most dApps via WalletConnect in Trezor Suite. However, this is currently offered only in the desktop version, which you can connect your Trezor Safe 7 to wirelessly
We are aiming to integrate Metamask support for Trezor Safe 7 on mobile devices soon. As an alternative, it is already possible to use Rabby Wallet and Trezor Safe 7 on a mobile device.
Thanks for your response. I’m glad we already have a 3rd party app to help us with DeFi.
Something to note is that Rabby Wallet is for ETH and EVM-compatible blockchains.
There doesn’t seem to be a solution at the moment where we can Solana DeFi or other DeFi blockchain transactions completely wirelessly from our phones to our Safe 7.
I’ve searched and I’ve seen browser extensions which again requires a computer.
I think for this specifically, we would have to wait on that.
