Title asks it all. I cannot find anywhere that the manufacturer has documented the meaning of the colors and activity of the LED on the Trezor Safe 7.
I have arrived at a few guesses.
Blinking blue probably means “Safe 7 is in bluetooth pairing mode”.
I vaguely recall that I may have occasionally seen an amber color blinking in the LED, and if so, I think it meant that charging was taking place. But this is not to be confused with an amber icon that shows up on the LED display to indicate “charging”, I think the amber color blinking in the LED means “the Safe 7 is powered off and it is charging”.
But neither of these LED behaviors seems to have been documented anywhere by the manufact
And I sort of assume that other colors might sometimes appear, in which case it would be helpful to know what they mean.
And what about a steady LED rather than a blinking LED? What does that mean, depending on the color?
The Safe 7 is said to be open-source. So I suppose a sufficiently determined person might be able to read through the source code to work out what the LED behaviors mean.
I wonder if somebody could hand the source code over to Claude and ask it what the LED behaviors mean.
Or the company could simply spill the beans.
