Trezor Suite v25.8.2 has been released.
To download and install the latest update, simply open Trezor Suite and proceed using the on-screen instructions. Please note that updates roll out in stages and you may not be prompted to update for several days after this announcement.
New features
- Bitcoin can now be set as the primary currency unit, offering greater control over how values are displayed.
- “View-only” wallets are now enabled by default, making it easier to monitor balances without connecting your device.
- Biometric authentication with auto-lock has been added to experimental features, enhancing both security and convenience.
- WalletConnect is now officially supported—securely connect your Trezor to dApps, with transaction simulations included for added transparency.
- Trezor Connect has graduated from experimental—seamlessly link your Trezor to supported apps via a secure Trezor Suite interface (availability depends on third-party wallet support).
Improvements
- The minimum Bitcoin fee rate has been reduced to 0.1 sat/vB, allowing for more cost-effective transaction options.
- Locktime functionality has been enhanced for increased precision in transaction timing.
Bug fixes
- Minor bugs have been resolved, along with general usability enhancements for a more reliable and seamless experience.
