When I am asked to confirm the send amount to my exchange, the device asks for me to confirm the legitimate transaction and once done, asks me to confirm a second transaction with an address I have not entered or recognize. This occurred after I updated the device after plugging in. Is my device hacked?
@Wildmanfromafrica12 you are right not to complete this second transaction as it doesn’t sound like a standard transaction to a centralized exchange. It’s important to note that often, when transacting with a decentralized exchange a token approval transaction and then the actual exchange of coins need to be made. However, without proper context I can’t give an answer to this question. I would recommend creating a support ticket via our Chatbot Hal, and sending more details including the exchange involved as well as some screenshots of the transaction instructions from the exchange itself, so we can investigate further.
