@barracala no, there are no plans to support Edge. Supported browsers are Firefox and Chrome
ok, thanks for the answer.
I just got my Trezor recently and used the Edge browser with Metamask extension. Added a hardware wallet from Trezor onto the extension and then sent some crypto to that wallet. After doing that, I realized that I needed to use Chrome browser instead. The chrome browser works great with the Trezor but because Trezor isnât supported on Edge, I canât get that crypto sent out of that original wallet and canât import it on the chrome side. When I go to add hardware wall on the chrome side, that walled address doesnt come up as an option to import. Long story short, is there a way to get that crypto out of that Edge wallet or is it just stuck there now because I canât approve the transaction in Edge browser.
just delete the extension.
your crypto is not âon edge browserâ it is on the blockchain.
avoid microsoft products, they are all spyware anyway.
if you are using the same seed and passphrase the wallet address accounts should be available to you in metamask and trezor suite.
That makes total sense, thanks for the help on that. The only confusing thing is, when I go into MetaMask extension and click add hardware wallet, from Trezor, all of the optional wallet addresses donât match that one address I originally setup. But I can see the other multiple Trezor ones I setup after that one. Would there be a reason that first wallet address is the only one that I canât view or import in on the extension?
I didnât create a hidden pass phase, for the wallet that I created on the edge browser, it was just a standard wallet from one of those randomly generated options. But now it doesnât come up as an option to load when I go to add hardware wallet on a different computer or chrome extension. I know it isnât âonâ the edge extension but that is the only way I can view it for some reason.
