Storing EOS on Trezor model T

Hello Everyone,
I have a Trezor Model T. I bought it because it supports all the coins I own, including EOS.
However, I can’t see an option to receive EOS to the Trezor.
Can someone please explain how to do that?

Thank you!

Hi @orikatz1,

EOS (EOS) is supported on Trezor Model T to receive coins but EOS isn’t supported by Trezor Suite so it seems you must use a 3rd party wallet called blocks.io to handle this coin. There should be a service there to connect your Trezor device.

Thank you for your reply.
So I have to add another Wallet to my Trezor T via the Trezor Suite? Are there any instructions how to do that exactley?

I must say that it’s weird, I bought the Trezor because they publish their support for EOS, it’s weird that I have to rely on a third-party service.

Not via Trezor Suite but via blocks.io. Trezor Suite cannot be used with EOS, as I mentioned earlier. See https://docs.bloks.io/login/desktop-wallets/trezor for how to use your Trezor with this site.

Always check the Supported coins list before deciding on a Trezor purchase.

Hi @orikatz1,

for clarification, Trezor devices support EOS, it is just not natively supported in Trezor Suite. It means that you need to use 3rd party wallet (a wallet is just an interface used to manage your private keys) as
@Petosiris mentioned.

Your private keys are always safely protected by your Trezor device, no matter what 3rd party application you use it with.
