Request for Native SUI (Sui Network) Support on Trezor

Hello Trezor team,

I’d like to formally request native support for the SUI (Sui Network) on Trezor devices.

SUI has quickly become one of the most active and fastest-growing Layer-1 ecosystems, with increasing adoption, strong developer activity, and significant on-chain value. As a long-term SUI holder, I want to secure my assets using a fully open-source, security-first hardware wallet, which is why Trezor Safe 7 is my preferred choice.

At the moment, the lack of SUI support is the only reason I’m unable to use Trezor as my primary hardware wallet. I know several other SUI users who feel the same and have chosen alternative wallets solely because SUI isn’t supported yet. Adding SUI would directly translate into new users and retained customers for Trezor.

I understand that integrating a new L1 takes time and effort, but SUI’s growing importance makes it a strong candidate for future support. Even confirmation that SUI is being evaluated or considered for the roadmap would be greatly appreciated by the community.

Thank you for your continued commitment to security, transparency, and user choice. I hope to be able to secure my SUI holdings with Trezor in the near future.

Best regards,

Hello @NoNeed

Thank you for your interest in SUI. At this time, we don’t have plans to integrate it into Trezor.

Our current priorities include major improvements to Trezor Suite, along with several Bitcoin-focused initiatives and new product developments. These efforts are taking precedence on our roadmap right now.

If you’d like to stay informed about supported assets, you can check our official Supported Coins page or follow our updates via the Trezor Blog or social media channels.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Thanks for the clear response and transparency — I appreciate it.

Understood regarding current priorities. I’ll keep following updates and will continue to voice interest in SUI support, as it remains an important asset for many users looking for a security-first hardware wallet.

If there’s ever a way for the community to signal demand more formally, I’d be happy to participate.

+1 on this, which doesn’t mean that implementing SUI should jeopardize the rest of the roadmpa. I’m glad to hear that the Trezor Suite will get major improvements in the future

I understand that Trezor can’t implement every chain that is created. However, the request is to implement a top 20 chain (by market cap). I don’t think that is too much of an ask.

Real, I guess I will keep using Tangem to hold my sui safe.

This omission is starting to look embarrassing indeed…
