WHen I used my trezor on a second device my labels were missing. In settings I connected to Dropbox but I think my labels were stored locally on the first device. Going back to my first device my labels were now missing there too. I’ve lost many hours or labeling history. How can satoshi labs not have a way to recover these?
Hello @obliopoints,
When you store your labels locally, you will not be able to use them on a second device, as it only stays on the original device you generated the labels on.
There is no possibility that the labels would disappear from your first device if you had them stored locally.
Depending on your operating system, the labels will be found in:
- MacOS: ./Library/Application Support/@trezor/suite-desktop/metadata/
- Linux: ˜/.config/@trezor/suite-desktop/metadata/
- Windows 11: "C:\Users\yourpcname\AppData\Roaming@trezor\suite-desktop

I have a similar issue as the post above. I currently have my Trezor set up to store labels locally.
So that I understand correctly:
- Is there a way to import the labels from the first device onto a second device?
- If not, is there a way to save the labels (from the first device) onto Dropbox and then import the labels onto a second device?
I’ve diligently searched the website, but if I’ve missed this information kindly show me the way.
Thanks in advance.
