I am currently waiting on receiving a transaction of BTC that was supposed to be sent to my wallet and there is no progress being made. Are there any opinions or suggestions about this issue?

Could you please give us some more information about this – such as, which third party wallet you used, if you sent the BTC to a wallet there or to your Trezor, if you used a Receive address on a Standard or a Hidden wallet on Trezor, and any other relevant info you can specify.
You can also check the transaction progress on https://btc1.trezor.io/ by specifying your transaction ID in the input field there.
