Sorry, I know, there are similar questions on the forum, but I don’t find exactly what I want to know…
I have coins in a new wallet created in Trezor Suite, linked to a Trezor device. I keep my recovery phrases in a safe place. Would it be possible to buy a scond Trezor and use it with the same wallet, managing it with the same Trezor Suite? If so, how? The idea is, that if my existing Trezor device gets damaged (I fundamentally distrust all hardware
), I would not even need to use the recovery phrase, but could simply continue using the other device - that “holds the same coins” (i.e. the same keys as the first device).

Hi @NotSure ,
Yes, this is absolutely possible.
If you purchase a second Trezor device and recover it using the same wallet backup (recovery seed) as your first device, both devices will mirror the same wallet.
You’ll need to go through the recovery process on the second device initially, but once that’s completed, both devices will hold the exact same wallet. This means you can manage a single wallet using two devices interchangeably.
Having a backup device is a great idea as it provides additional peace of mind in case one device stops working unexpectedly ![]()
