Hi there,
While checking if my Trezor was ready for Monero, I saw that it was compatible with the Safe 5, Safe 3 and Model T.
What about the Trezor Safe 7? Will Monero support be added in a future update?
Thank you for your help!

The issue is the other way around.
Trezor Safe 7 already does, and will continue to, support Monero.
It’s Monero that is not supporting Trezor Safe 7.
Due to its anonymity preserving cryptography, Monero requires a lot of complexity on the companion app side. For that reason, few multi-coin wallets support Monero. Trezor support was only present on Exodus (which recently delisted Monero) and the official Monero GUI.
The problem with Monero GUI is that they also need to implement support for Trezor Safe 7’s new encrypted protocol. That is some amount of work that will probably happen in the coming months, but it’s nowhere near as easy as flipping a switch.
Feather Wallet is also an alternative wallet to Monero GUI for using Trezor and Monero, but unfortunately, it does not yet have Trezor Safe 7 support either.
A post was merged into an existing topic: Why is TRC20 still not supported?
Hi,
is there an update about Monero support for Trezor Safe 7?
Thanks
Hi @Badmonkey , Monero is now finally supported on TS7 via connection to Cake Wallet (all OS) or Monero One (iOS only).
Hey there,
Are you sure about Cake Wallet? ‘Cause only Ledger is mentioned in their official doc, and no Trezor-related settings can be found in their iOS app.
In the meantime, I’ll check the other app.
Nope, same thing with the other app. Nothing allowing to use any kind of Trezor or Ledger with the app.
Hi @SlowWiseTurtle , yes - I am sure. Check out this twitter post - Monero (XMR) on X: "Trezor support for Monero is now available in Cake Wallet!" / X
Cake Wallet should work with any operating system
