Hi there , I lost my trezor 1 wallet . I have my recovery seed. Can I buy a more updated wallet and recover my crypto or do I have to buy another trezor 1?

Yup, no issues buying an updated wallet as long as you have your seed.

Indeed, if you have your seed phrase also called recovery seed then you can just buy any wallet and recover that wallet with your seed phrase.
