Link is an Eth Wannabe...but I want it back to original Link 😭

I’ve really tried to look online and on this forum but no joy. I sent some chainlink to my trezor from Exodus wallet using Eth network, but didn’t add link token first in Trezor suite, so I can see my £250 Link but as Eth in Trezor.

Is there anyway I can get my Chainlink back? My eyes are red raw after searching for too many hours.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Mrfaye,

Chainlink (LINK) and Ethereum (ETH) are different cryptocurrencies. It is not possible that LINK is displayed as ETH.

Chainlink is ERC20 token and uses ETH addresses, but it is not the same as ETH. You can find further information on how to use ERC20 tokens in Trezor Suite in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t--bLcbXcdI&list=PLE-cdsNF-Lxd8kI7YlziqGUfBJlQjXLoz&index=2&t=99s&pp=iAQB

Also, there is no need to add the contract address before sending any ERC20 tokens to Trezor Suite. After the transaction is confirmed, the token will display automatically in the “Tokens” tab under your ETH account.
