Funds disappeared from the wallet

I used the wallet once to activate it, and the second time to transfer funds. ETH and ETC about three years ago. The funds were received, I put the wallet in the safe (trezor one). Today I connected it for the first time since that time, the balance is zero. I logged in via tor, reset my wallet, and restored it. I installed the trezor app on my iphone, and the balance is zero everywhere. I didn’t create a hidden wallet, what should I do?

Hi, If you do not see your coins and there are no unauthorized transactions in the desired account(s), it’s likely that you are checking a different wallet.

To find a correct wallet, you need to use the same combination of wallet backup (recovery seed) - 12, 24, or 20 words) + passphrase as was used in the past.

Your situation is fully described in this guide and I advise you to perform all steps one by one:

Nothing helped. The wallet was reset and restored successfully, the balance is zero. Just in case, I tried to use the phrases hidden wallet to make the result zero (which I did not set). In trezor suite lite, I can see my balances at the addresses I transferred them to, and they are there. What else can I do to have access to the address I transferred to? Once again, I made sure that all transactions were completed. Thanks

don’t forget to go to settings and make sure the coins you are using are enabled

Of course I turned everything on. Maybe need to write something in the blockbook settings?

Hi @IlyaK lya,

Do you have the Ethereum account enabled in Trezor Suite Lite? Does the address match the address in the desktop Trezor Suite app? If it does not match, then it means that you are accessing a different wallet(different passphrase have been used).

To further expand on this point, if you enter a passphrase you think is the original but mistype one tiny detail, or add a space at the start or end, it will create an entirely new passphrase wallet. The crucial step is to find the passphrase wallet where your funds are stored.

In Trezor Suite, you can enter the passphrase by selecting the wallet type (Step 1) and then clicking on “+ Passphrase wallet” (Step 2):

You can learn more about passphrases, including a video tutorial, in the article here: Passphrases and hidden wallets

Passphrases typically consist of a word that holds personal significance to the user. It could be a term that first comes to your mind when you see the prompt to enter the passphrase. Sometimes, users use their Trezor PIN as a passphrase, or it might be a password used for other services. It could also be the name of a loved one or a pet, a place you have traveled to, or an important date in your life.

It is important to note that passphrases are case-sensitive, so be mindful of uppercase and lowercase letters. Passphrases can also contain spaces, including at the beginning or end of the word.

Do you use a secondary foreign keyboard on your computer? If so, please try switching to it, as the password might have been entered using that keyboard, which could have different letter placements.

The only way to find your funds is to try as many combinations as possible. I understand it may seem like searching for a needle in a haystack, but the more combinations and options you try, the higher the chance of finding your wallet.

Summary and Checklist:

  • Double-check for typos or misspellings in the passphrase.
  • Ensure the correct use of uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • Check for any spaces at the beginning or end of the word.
  • Consider variations that hold personal significance (e.g., names, dates, places).
  • Try using passwords or PINs you use for other services.
  • Test multiple combinations and variations.
  • Consider checking if a different keyboard layout or a secondary foreign keyboard might be in use.

I kindly ask you to try as many phrases as possible and let me know if you were successful.

Thank you, I really created a hidden one and just now picked up the phrase. For the rest, if the address where I threw (and everything is still there) does not coincide with the address of the standard wallet of the broadcast, then a hidden one was created. You’ll have to spend a lot of time
