First impressions and sugggestions

Dear Trezor Team,

It is a pleasure to join this community. I recently acquired a Trezor Safe 7 as part of my transition away from Ledger (though I still own a Ledger Nano). My decision is driven by my trust in Trezor, your commitment to open-source software, and the educational mission of the Trezor Academy, which I would like to support.

While the device feels premium, I find that token support in Trezor leaves much to be desired, especially coming from a Ledger background. Therefore, I believe Trezor should prioritize implementing native support in the Trezor Suite app for the following major cryptocurrencies, all of which are in the top 50 by market capitalization:
• Bittensor ($TAO)
• Hedera ($HBAR)
• Sui ($SUI)
• Hyperliquid ($HYPE)
• Near Protocol ($NEAR)
• Filecoin ($FIL)

–-
• Arweave ($AR)
• Story Protocol ($IP)

The lack of native compatibility for $TAO is particularly concerning, as it prevents me from interacting with taostats for staking or similar management tasks. As you know, Bittensor represents a revolution in AI generation and is an ecosystem of multiple models with its own subnet economy centered around the $TAO root. I believe that native support for this should be a priority on Trezor’s roadmap.

Having to rely on Ledger Wallet to interact natively with these tokens ultimately hinders Trezor adoption and diminishes its standing as a model for self-custody.

I hope you can implement native support for these projects in the near future, especially for $TAO.
Best regards,
