FIDO2: When does the TS3 ask for PIN?

so under what circumstances does and doesnt the TS3 ask for PIN if I may ask?

because seemingly sometimes it asks and sometimes it doesnt despite all requests so far seeming to have UV active.

If you entered your PIN in the last 3 minutes, Trezor doesn’t ask. Otherwise it asks.

It might make more sense to tie it into screen unlock time, there is an open issue for that, but, basically, someone would first need to figure out what exact behavior we want instead of doing (more) random changes.

the crazy idea would be to allow setting both (while obviously FIDO2 pin time <= lockscreen time)

but having it seperated is certainly an interesting idea, I dont dislike it (at least while I know it works)
