Ethereum 2.0 | ETH > ETH 2.0

Hi everyone,

I have a question:

If we have ETH in our wallets and ETH 2.0 appears, will we lose our coins? Or will Trezor automatically convert to the new currency?

I am almost certain that the token or currency will remain the same or at least be backwards compatible. The eth you currently have will be spendable on the eth2 system.

And do you think that ETH 2.0 will be supported by Trezor? It’s switching from PoW to PoS.

it is very likely that the PoW → PoS switch will only affect miners, and the user-side part will stay the same.
