"Error executing HWI" when signing transaction from Sparrow Wallet

Hi gang,

I have an issue signing transactions from my Sparrow Wallet Interface. The error calls "Error executing HWI ". I did Google search and can´t find any solution.

I have up to date pruned node running (fully working with Sparrow Hot Wallet), up to date Sparrow Wallet and up to date Trezor App on my MacOS Sonoma 16.6.1 + M1 Chip.

The log shows the following;

"2024-10-09 12:00:08,450 ERROR [Thread-368] c.s.s.i.Hwi [null:-1] Error executing hwi-3.1.0

[99975] Failed to execute script 'hwi' due to unhandled exception!"

Somehow my Mac/Trezor/Sparrow thinks the executed file (don´t know which) is malicious. I don´t know how to fix that, I´m not a dev.

I think I need to buy new Trezor Wallet :confused:

Thanks for your help already!

Does this happen every time, even if you disconnect and reconnect Trezor?

Also please make sure Trezor Suite is not running while you are trying this.

Yes, happens every time. Trezor Suite is closed and I even deinstalled it. Issues stays the same.

Somehow the problem solved itself. i just tried the next day and made sure my Trezor was really unlocked and I could sign the transaction. Topic closed :slight_smile:
