I’m about to send an ERC-20 token to a different address but when I go to send the tokens my Trezor device says “unknown token” and then shows me a “contract” that looks like an address but is different to the address I am sending it to in Trezor suite.
I would assume that the address on trezor should be the same as the address I have put into suite?
Hi Tim, the address you generate from Trezor is different from the contract address for the token. You can see the contract address if you lookup the token on etherscan.io. For example, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has the contract address 0x95aD61b0a150d79219dCF64E1E6Cc01f0B64C4cE. So check that both the address you send to and the contract address is correct before you send.
