Can i always create new independent Multi Shares for SLIP39?

If i create 3 shares with a 2 out of 3 treshold and lose one share.
Can i the create 3 completly new shares and destroy my old shares, and continue to use the same wallet. Or do I have to generate a completely new wallet?

yes you can. Before you can create another MultiShare, you need to enter previous valid wallet backup. And because you will meet the threshold condition as you lost only one Share in your scenario, you will be able to enter these two and then you can create new M-of-N Share, i.e. you can create 2-of-3 again or different like 3-of-5.

And yes, there is no way to combine new set with old set of Shares. First and Second SEED word identify your Share set (just in case you mess - by accident - those two sets together).
