Aerodrome Finance cryptodid not appear in trezor safe 3

Hey. I purchased a new Trezor Safe3 wallet from Amazon and it arrived on 08/04/2024. I transferred Aero (Base) token amounting to $100 from Coinbase to Trezor wallet. No money was received. As Aero was under BASE Network, I used “Ethereum” and copied & pasted the Ethereum address on Coinbase “send to adress”. How can i recover my $100? It has been a nightmare using Trezor Safe 3. Disappointed.

Kind regards, Aaron

Hi @aaroncyk,

The Base network is not directly supported in Trezor Suite. However, private key for the address you’ve used is still safely kept offline in the Trezor device. To be able to display and manage your funds you need to use a 3rd party application that supports Trezor devices and the Base network. You can use for example MetaMask.

Information on how to connect your Trezor to MetaMask can be found at https://trezor.io/learn/a/metamask-and-trezor

You need to add the ETH address you’ve used for sending your funds in the step “Select an account”.

In the next step, you need to add the Base network to MetaMask. Please visit https://chainlist.org/ (make sure to use this link, there are several scam links on the web), find “Base”, and select “Add to MetaMask” then “Approve” and “Switch network”.

You can also find the process (with a different network though) in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et4AP4SUa4E

After you add the Base network to your MetaMask you need to import Aerodrome Finance (AERO) token. Please, select “+ Import Tokens”:

Insert contract address of AERO (0x940181a94a35a4569e4529a3cdfb74e38fd98631) to form “Token Contract Address”, select “Add Custom Tokens” and “Import Tokens”

You should be able to see and manage your AERO via MetaMask then.

Hi @radekP ,
Thank you very much for the info. I had successfully added AERO token to Metamask, however, I still don’t see my $100. Aero token just showed ‘0’. I had selected the same Ethereum account that I used in Trezor Safe 3. How do I proceed from here?
Thank you.

** On Chainlist, when I clicked on “Connect Wallet” , Coinbase Wallet popped up automatically. There was no option for Metamask. I then went back to Metamask again, clicked on top left icon, found “Base Mainnet” and selected “Base Mainnet”.- “import tokens”- searched for AERO and added from there. It was different from the instructionals.

@aaroncyk, the Coinbase wallet most likely use the same route as MetaMask and that is why it opened instead of MetaMask.

Anyway, if you connected to the Base, added the desired token and still cannot see your funds, please reach out to support via the chat speech bubble in the bottom right corner on the following page:
