Recently I attempted to transfer my XRP from Robinhood to Trezor wallet. Thing is that Robinhood states the address is wrong. Surely it is XPR Ledger blockchain I did not mismatched. Also I copy and paste and check the address after copying. My Trezor wallet is empty with 0 XRP. May it be the cause that the XRP account has been not activated yet? If so, the only way to activate the account is to buy the XRP within the wallet as I am not permitted to receive?

The XRP Ledger applies reserve requirements for every address on the ledger. To use a new XRP address, at least the minimum required amount of 1 XRP must be sent to that address .
Once you transfer the 1 XRP minimum reserve amount to a new address, you will be able to use that address to receive your XRP from Robinhood.
