As I try to update firmware with the suite, it asks to connect in bootloader mode. I can do this and see the bootloader mode active because I see serial number and loader 1.3.2.
But the device is then not recognized anymore. It just asks to connect in bootloader mode again.
Factory reset is also not possible because no communication via suite is working at the moment. Too old firmware.
Please help.
I was able to communicate with suite version 24.12.3 but the button for update firmware doesnt let me click on it.
When I try the danger zone option, it says I need bootloader 1.8.0
How do I update the bootloader software?
You need to use this firmware first: https://github.com/trezor/data/raw/refs/heads/master/firmware/t1b1/trezor-t1tb-inter-v1.bin
After a successful installation you will be able to update your firmware normally.
Normally Suite should do this automatically for you, not sure why it is failing here 
but your Trezor is very very old, maybe that’s the reason.
