Trezor wallet not showing in Metamask Extension

Hi everyone,

I think people are having the same issue, but I am unable to find a solution…

My “Trezor 1” wallet is currently showing in my Metamask Portfolio, however, it is not showing in my Metamask extension (I had to delete my Metamask Chrome extension and download it again). And when I try to import my Trezor hardware wallet into my Metamask extension, the wallet I am trying to access is not shown in the list provided by Trezor (I tried all the HD paths). I have never used a passphrase, so I’m certain it’s not that. And my Trezor seed phrase is the same as it’s always been.

I even tried adding all my Metamask accounts again in a new browser extension, just incase I thought my Trezor wallet was actually a Metamask wallet, but this was not the case either

Any help trying to access my wallet would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Hi @cryptolegs,

This sounds very much like you originally accessed a passphrase wallet, and then forgot that you were doing so. However, here are some alternative possibilities:

  1. You are accessing accounts on the wrong network (e.g. viewing your balances on the Ethereum blockchain when your coins are really on Base blockchain).

  2. You have imported the wrong wallet backup (formerly recovery seed) with a default of 12, 20 or 24 words into your device.
