Trezor suite lite : also trezor backend servers?

Does trezor suite lite (watch-only) make use also (like trezor suite desktop) of trezor servers (and no other third party servers) to retrieve balances and transactions via Xpub?
I ask it to be sure my Xpub will not be published to others/stranges
I suppose my Xpub or derived sub-pub keys are only sent to trezor servers?

I will use trezor suite lite in combination with VPN (because there is no TOR) to my ip address
I just hodl btc on the wallet and do no transactions.

Hello @chacelac,

Trezor Suite Lite uses the same backend servers for BTC as we use for the native Trezor Suite app.
Your XPUB is safe as long as you keep your recovery seed safe.
