Hi, just to be clear what I did:
- connected my Trezor One to my machine, tried to type in the PIN a few times and it was not recognized
- opened the device in bootloader mode and executed a factory reset
- Started a new setup and in the first step was asked to update the firmware of the device (clicked the button)
- Trezor suite asked me to disconnect the device which I did, the step was marked with a green tick and the next step was reconnecting the device. However, now suddenly the device does not react anymore if I connect it to my PC and the suite just continues to tell me to plug it in again. The screen on the device stays completely blank and Windows does not seem to recognize it as device anymore.
- tried reopening trezor suite, restarting my PC, tried to use any other USB slot in my machine, no connection possible anymore
Did I somehow brick my Trezor with this firmware update or am I missing something here? The device was not connected to my PC for multiple years. I saw similar issues in the forum as well, is this a known problem and I now need to get a new device? Any idea how I can establish a connection to the device again? I would be happy opening a support ticket for this but the support page only allows me to get in touch with your chatbot.
