Save the passphrase on the Trezor

Hey,

  1. Is there a way to save the passphrase on the device by protecting it with a separate PIN code, instead of entering it every time you need to sign a transaction?

  2. If none of the devices have this option now, do you plan to add it in the future?

Hi @defi,

This is not possible with any Trezor model currently, and we do not plan to implement a feature like this. The passphrase needs to be entered manually every time you want to sign a transaction.

You can use the “View-only” feature if you want. More information can be found at Trezor Suite application features and walkthrough guide (see the section “View-only and Eject”)

Keep in mind that a passphrase needs to be entered when you want to sign a transaction even if the View-only feature is enabled.
