Remove Trezor One firmware.

Dear friends, when you first access Trezor Suite with a clean Trezor, you are informed that the device does not have firmware, so the system installs its original firmware, enabling the use of the device.
I am going to give my old wallet to a friend, and I would like him to be able to experience it himself and see the original firmware being installed.
My question is, is there a way to leave the wallet in its initial state (bootloader only) after installing the firmware?
How do I do this?
Thank you very much.

Hi @ChicoCybergoth

Although it’s possible to do what you’re asking by factory resetting the Model One, due to the security nature of our products, it’s better when someone is getting started using Trezor to buy a new one directly from us rather than receiving a user one. This is due to the risk that used Trezors may have been tampered with.

While I’m sure you have the best of intentions with giving away your Model One, unfortunately, it’s not the way our products are intended to be used. We have a policy in both Trezor Expert and Trezor Support to instruct customers who contact us and have been gifted a used Trezor to buy a new one due to its nature as a security product.

You can certainly hang onto the Model One and use it to demonstrate how to setup Trezor with all of your friends! And, if you’re feeling really generous, you could even gift your friend a Trezor Expert session where we can explain how to setup any Trezor hardware wallet to him!

Hello NickW.
I understand that.
Your answer solves my question, thank you very much!
