Hi,
I sent by mistake a considerable amount of SOL to a smart contract,
The mistake was due to a UX issue on the Trezor Suite.
- I sent some Solana on an address of mine.
- I did a swap on Challengly provider.
- I wanted to send more Solana on my previous address. The Trezor Suite showed my an address precompiled in the input, I assumend it was the address of the wallet where I sent previously, of course not the address of the smart contract where I swapped.
My bad I did not double checked as usual. However I think that it was also due to the Trezor Suite issue mentioned above that made me loose 71 SOL. As a user I trusted the Trezor Suite the address was a wallet address not a smart contract address since my action was to send SOL.
Please let me know if it is possible to contact the swap provider to get my SOL back or if it is possible to get a refund anyways.
TBH I am very upset with this UX misbehaviour and I hope to get help and a refund otherwise my ethical behaviour will be to share my (awful) experience on the Internet in order to avoid this happens again to others.
Also I noticed this was not the only bug I found in the Trezor Suite, in particular with the Trezor Silver device.
Of course I can provide details about my wallet and the transaction on solana explorer.
Anyway I trust that Trezor Company will do the right thing (fingers crossed).
