MOG Test Transfer to Trezor Wallet never showed up

Received and installed Trezor Suite, made a few test transactions by sending coins/tokens from Coinbase to Trezor Ethereum wallet

Ethereum test - $5 - Received in trezor
Shib Test - $5 - Received in trezor
Jasmycoin test - $5 - Received in trezor

MOG Coin - $5 - never showed up as of 15hrs after transaction.

Transaction shows completed and the coins show up on basescan (dot) org but not in Trezor.

MOG shows up as a supported coin on the list of supported coins shown on Trezor site.

how do i get the MOG coins to show on trezor?

Please note that only the Ethereum mainnet, Polygon network, and BNB Chain (EVM) are natively supported in Trezor Suite. However, you have transferred tokens issued on the Base Chain network.

There is no need to worry; your funds are not lost. The Base Chain network is one of the EVM-compatible networks supported by the firmware of all devices (Trezor Model One, Trezor Model T, Trezor Safe 3, and Trezor Safe 5).

These networks use the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), operating independently of the Ethereum mainnet and often validated differently from Ethereum’s Proof of Stake protocol. Currently, only the Polygon and BNB networks are supported directly in Trezor Suite due to the backend server being used.

Transactions on such networks are often mistakenly made when withdrawing from exchanges, as they are faster and cheaper. To access and manage tokens withdrawn on these networks, you must use a third-party wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby Wallet.

Rabby Wallet

For novice users, Rabby Wallet is a better option as it does not require manual configuration for these EVM networks and tokens. Most popular networks and tokens on these are discovered automatically. Ensure you choose the ETH address you used to send the funds in the step “Connect to Trezor.”

MetaMask

MetaMask is more suitable for experienced users since adding the desired EVM network needs to be done manually.

To discover your funds using the MetaMask extension, please follow these steps:

  1. Connect your Trezor device to MetaMask. Information on how to do it can be found here:
  1. Then you need to add the Base Chain network to MetaMask. Please visit https://chainlist.org/, find “Base”, and select “Add to MetaMask” then “Approve” and “Switch network”.

  1. Some networks do not automatically populate all of your coins when you connect with them via Metamask. If this happens, you will need to manually import them as described at https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/360015489031-How-to-display-tokens-in-MetaMask

You should be able to see and manage your funds on the Base Chain network via Rabby wallet or MetaMask. To transfer them back to the Ethereum network, you need to send them back to your exchange. You will need native coin of the Base Chain network to pay for the gas in this transaction. If you don’t have any, purchase some and send it to the same address that includes your funds. From the exchange, you can then send your funds to your Ethereum address again, but this time make sure you use the proper Ethereum network (be aware that you will most likely have to pay higher transaction fees).
