Metamask doesn't detects trezor 1

Looking for help. When connecting in metamask, it just sits there saying Device call in progress and looking for Trezor .

I am running Chrome and everything is up to date; my Trezor is running the latest updates.

Please advise on the next best steps to try.

Did you install the trezor bridge? There is a built-in bridge in the suite. If you want to connect to Google Chrome, you need to install it on your computer.
