Issue with Trezor Model Safe 5 Verification Process**

Dear Trezor Support Team,

I recently purchased a Trezor Model Safe 5. During the installation process, I successfully entered the 20 recovery words. However, when I reached the subsequent verification phase, I encountered an issue that prevented me from completing the setup.

The system prompts me with three letters, and I am required to identify the correct one. However, there is no indication of which word number I need to choose from the 20 recovery words. This makes it impossible for me to know which word to select, and I believe this is a bug in the system.

To resolve the issue, I interrupted the initialization process, performed a wipe of the device, and then restored it using the 20 words provided during the initialization. This allowed the device to become usable, but it was an inconvenient and time-consuming procedure.

I would appreciate any guidance or a fix to resolve this issue in a more straightforward manner.

do you mean this screen?

It says “select word 13 of 20” right under the title.
Is there perhaps a problem with visibility of the text?

Same problem here! Yes the screen is that one, but in our case, it doesn’t say wich word to select.

would you mind taking a photo and posting it here?

(you can erase the Trezor, set up a new seed and post a picture of that. then erase again and recover your actual seed)

If i try to upload a photo it says “you cannot embed media into a post”. In my opinion it’s because the language is set to Italian and there’s no space for the info.
