I have a Trezor Model T And someone on X ask me if I am backing up my Crypto that’s on my Model T on a website called QFS. I think this is a scam since I don’t see anything on this community page that mentions needing to back up your wallet.
Never make a digital copy of your wallet backup, and always keep it safe from fire, water damage, and the risk of theft! This kind of advice is at best misguided, and at worst a scam. Unlike most data, your Trezor wallet backup (also known as a recovery seed) is not designed to be backed up digitally because that would result in it being exposed to the internet and you would lose the benefit of cold storage.
Your wallet backup should be backed up physically using the two backup booklet cards we’ve provided you with and any additional copies of the backup that you decide to make.
