When do you plan to release an update for the firmware to make it work properly?
I am having the same issues, I am getting the first screenshot above that states update firmware or that loading screen screenshot. My funds are on other networks and I have no idea why this update message is now blocking me from making any transactions

I just tried signing transaction with old firmware in metamask and it works, try the troubleshooting steps above

@San4 that was the message for user above, you have slightly different issue, you have already updated, if there is any issue, it is browser/connection.

you need at least 1.8 or 2.1 (for Model T) FW versions to sign transactions, if Metamask is forcing update it is because you are running old firmware

Is there a way to add custom rpc for harmony and matic on legacy? I am trying to but it wont connect.
@Ryan21 click network in upper right corner, select Add custom network and fill out the fields based on the info from here, if anything does not work, try desktop app.
