Fees for transfering BTC

Hi myu name is Robert, I’m new here and have question about fees for transfering BTC to TREZOR, is there any way to have lower fees for BTC, I just did some test transfer and TREZOR charge about 5%.
Thank you any answer will help.

Hi Robert,

Most of the time, you will want to use a Native Segwit address (known as Bech32), which always begins with the characters bc1. This type of address is best to use whenever possible because it is more efficient in how it uses data to complete a transaction, resulting in a lower fee, since fees are calculated in satoshis per byte of data.

Trezor Suite allows you to determine the size of the fee to send with a transaction: low, economy, normal or high and the size of the fee sent with the transaction determines the confirmation time.

There are also transaction fee estimators and calculators out there so you can check what fees you should use depending on how fast you would like to obtain the first confirmation for a typical transaction.
