I sent Ethereum to the address I copied from my Ethereum wallet in Trezor Suite and now my ETH is gone! I clicked on “copy address” inside the Trezo Suite application and it copied an address that is not mine and I didn’t see it. What could have happened and how to solve it?
Most likely your PC is infected with clipboard modifying malware that replaces all copy-pasted addresses with attacker addresses. Make sure to get an antivirus to clean your PC.
In the future, always use the “check address on Trezor” feature and check that the Trezor screen shows the same thing as your PC.
