Failed to do dry recovery

hello everyone i didnt use my trezor for a long time, When i connected it it said that i need to do update for firmware and that i sholud check dry recovery first. when i try to check for dry recovery i cant go pass third step (after i select standard recovery) it pops out that recovery failed and this msg “ui-device_firmware_old”
please advise what should i do as i dont have lots of experience

Take a look at this discussion: “Check wallet backup no pin widget” … it does not explain your experience, but there appears to be a bug in version 24.11.2 which may have other effects.

If you are using a Trezor Model One with firmware older than 1.5.2 you will not be able to do a check wallet backup (dry run recovery) process. You can check the firmware version by going to Trezor Suite accessing Settings > Device, and scrolling down to the firmware section.

A firmware update from firmware this old will also wipe the wallet backup so the safest solution if your firmware does not offer a check backup option is to buy a new Trezor (we have some great Black Friday deals this week!) to check if your wallet backup is correct, and if not, you can move the coins from your old Model One to the new Trezor first before updating firmware.
