Bad UX to download desktop platforms

“Download for Desktop” should give the Intel / ARM option for Mac as well as all the other platforms- it’s illogical to have this under “More”!
user sees: “Download for Desktop” and “Continue in Browser” - and “more” If they know they want the Desktop version - why would they click “More”?
I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to get the Intel Mac version - because every time I clicked “Download for Desktop” it gives no choice and just d/l ARM…

Hi @la2442 sorry to hear you had difficulty installing the correct version of Trezor Suite. I’ve passed your feedback onto the Trezor website development team, and they are planning to find a solution to make it clearer that there are two versions available.

@la2442 Normally, the download automatically is selected based on whether your Mac is Intel vs ARM, but there seem to be occasional erroneous identifications of Intel macs as ARM macs. We would like to investigate more why this is the case for users such as yourself.

One little thing you could do to help, is going to the website https://uaparser.dev/#demo, and clicking the purple copy to clipboard icon that will appear near the top of your browser to copy the text that appears there for your computer. You can then create a ticket via our Chatbot Hal referencing this forum post, mentioning you were in contact with me (Nick W), and providing the text you have copied in the additional information. Do not post the information directly in the forum as it contains data related to your browser and Mac machine.
